Research overview.

Ultrasonic attenuation spectra, quasielastic light scattering and shear viscosity measurements of liquids exhibiting critical fluctuations are discussed. The article examines Bhattacharjee–Ferrell dynamic scaling and its interplay with noncritical relaxation processes in surfactant solutions and lipid bilayers.
